Armed with her talent, a vision and a few sleepless nights, WhirlWind Designs was born in 2001. The name came from a mentor who constantly compared Shannon to a "whirlwind" because of her energy and ambition. Over the next few years she added talented people to the company, building it as the needs of her clients dictated, not by conventional ad agency wisdom. Recognizing the widening scope of the work as well as the importance of her team, the name no longer fit. So the company became WhirlWind Creative. The company grew in size and ability, expanded to a larger space...twice...and increased revenue. Shannon followed no model to mold the company into what it is today. She solely depends on the needs of her clients to lead the way. |
